• Previous Gala results

The Wilkinson Sword Gala is for many swimmers the first County Gala in which they have the opportunity to swim for their home club. Traditionally taking place in the first half of the calendar year the Gala is always keenly anticipated and well contested. As age groups for the Gala start at 9 years old and ages are as at the day of competition it is a chance for younger club swimmers to take part. NASA affiliated clubs compete for the prestigious Wilkinson Sword trophy and the Runners Up Shield. In previous years the Gala has been held early in January, however, after requests from Club Coaches and amendments to the ASA Calendar the date of the Gala has been moved to July.
